Abstract |
: |
Preparation of some chloro, bromo and iodo steroids derived from testosterone and epiandrosterone is described. The biotransformation of halogenated products by fungus mucor plumbeus are preformed. Introduction of the halogen atom into the steroids moiety severely affected the biotransformation results. |
